Above is a before and after shot of the snug in Thistlewood, a grade 1 listed 13th century building.
This floor and panel works original finish was conserved and re-finished with a dramatic result.
Also in the same building some before and after shots of a floor which the builder on the project said was beyond repair. We used basic restoration and conservation methods to preserve the original look.
Above are shots of a grade II listed staircase which was partly re-built and restored.

Nandana is a majestic huge Victorian mansion on the prestigious beacon edge area of Penrith, Cumbria, with a glorious view overlooking Penrith and the surrounding countryside.

The house after being neglected for several years has been bought and is in the process of being sympathetically renovated to its period.

The house has a grand interior of oak and pitch panelling throughout with original fire places and floors. We have been requested to strip all panelling and timber work and floors of yachting varnish that was applied in the 1970’s, re colour and refinish all the timber work to its former glory

This is an early 17th C House in Orton Cumbria which had been condemned. The New owner bought and rebuilt the house keeping the original oak floor, planks, beams and staircase. They had been covered in allsorts from years of grime, bitumen and paint. We cleaned them and revealed one of the most impressive features of the house.
