Within our workshop we offer a professional and high quality range of restoration & conservation services. We can correct the smallest scratch, watermark or undertake a complete rebuild and restoration.

Our services include:

Traditional Finishing
This includes French polishing, lacquer work and wax polishing using traditional methods and recipes for shellacs and waxes.
We restore in a sympathetic style to preserve as much of the original finish as possible.
Cabinet Making
We offer a full range of cabinet making skills including structural repairing, matching & repairing of veneers, marquetry work & repairs, wood carving & wood turning. We only use traditional techniques with a selection of quality period timbers & veneers. We can also copy & repair original carvings & turnings to replace missing parts.
Leathering & Baize
Desks, Secretaires , Davenports etc can be transformed using only the finest hides and scivers which can be hand dyed to your choice of colour and enhanced by a variety of goldleaf tooling. We also offer a full baizing service.
Locks keys & Brassware
Antique locks can be fully serviced, new locks and keys can be hand made. We also match and replace any missing brassware using only authentic hand cast reproductions.
Traditional Cane & Rush Work
Caning & Rushing of chairs using traditional rushes such as saltwater and freshwater rush are carried out in our workshop.
Clock Restoration
We offer a full clock restoration service including cabinet work.
